Natural
Driftwood Sculptures will continue in its moves to promote the
use of recycled high quality timber for the full range of garden
projects. Commenting following the successful launch of recycled
timber range at the Chelsea Flower Show in May, Magnus Harding,
Managing Director of Natural Driftwood Sculptures said: "The
Hampton Court Flower Show provides us with the ideal platform
to build on the positive interest and support that we have received
since our recycled timber was launched." |

The
NDS range of recycled "First Growth" sawn and
prepared cedar from the same source, ideal for use as timber
for greenhouses, decking and wall cladding. The beauty of this
high quality first growth timber is the wonderful dark red fascia,
excellent for internal and external uses, particularly within
the construction of buildings. All NDS cedar is processed in
British Columbia and available in the UK, it can be supplied
ready to use, in a range of profiles from smooth tongued and
grooved to natural driftwood textured faces. |

| |
"Our
customers are getting the very best quality seasoned timber
whilst contributing positively to the environment. NDS is committed
to the long term utilization of this recycled timber",
concluded Magnus Harding. |

Examples
of the complete range and style of reclaimed timber were on
display at the NDS stand (E30). |

Gavin goes Wild - and the crowds do to |
|
| |
Last
month, Diarmuid Gavin and team journeyed to the coastal ranges
of Canada's Pacific North West to film Natural Driftwood Sculptures
Ltd.'s eco friendly collection of naturally formed Western Red
Cedar sculptures. Diarmuid's trip was broadcast on the BBC during
coverage of the Chelsea Flower Show. He was filmed out on the
lake in NDS's collection boat helping to select and recover
choice naturally formed sculptures. NDS have in this way been
recycling the previously unusable parts of felled trees discarded
by earlier generations. |
|
| |
"The
programme showed to the widest possible range of gardeners and
professional horticulturalists the beautiful source of our driftwood
- and the positive affect that our re-cycling is having on the
environment", reported Magnus Harding. "The
record number of visitors to our stand at Chelsea, and comments
made, confirmed a move towards the use of eco-friendly materials
in the garden". |

NDS
