@ The Chelsea Flower Show 2006 |
| View
a stumpery constructed using our driftwood |
A
stunning garden at the Chelsea Flower Show 2006 designed by
Marney Hall featured a stumpery built by Philip Game using
our driftwood. The Garden of Dreams, sponsored by 4head, "has
been designed as a natural haven of peace, inviting visitors
to journey from the stressful world of conscousness to an
altogether more alluring destination, idealised in dreams
..." |
There
is a beautifully designed website, giving information on the
design, the planting and the design team. |
| Uniquely
three real-time web cams positioned in different areas of
the garden gave online viewers a chance to spend time in the
garden without leaving their home ... and the bird song on
the web site is immediately evocative of the spring. |

The most memorable TV coverage was provided by Diarmuid Gavin's
film broadcast as part of the preview programme of the Chelsea
Flower Show, 2003 on BBC1. He was filmed out on the lake in
NDS's collection boat helping to select and recover choice naturally
formed sculptures. The film shows the remarkable environment
from which our sculptures are collected. |

the UK national newspaper, The Daily Mail. The article

in The Times, 28 April 2001
The Times Gardener section by Stephen Anderton featured
a brief review of our display at the London Garden Show. Stephen
was particularly taken by our show stand which: "had
a line of 5-6.5ft driftwood dolmens set up like a fence or
screen. Very Derek Jarman. Thats the way to use it,
with a purpose".
